I hope everyone enjoyed their turkey and pies today! This is one of the holidays that I just enjoy eating as much as I want! I made the MOST delicious green bean casserole to bring over to my parents house. As soon as it was set down on the table it was gone!

The recipe I got from Paula Deen . The only different thing I did was add bacon bits for the top. Delicious! Try it for yourself and see how yummy it really is!

Buffalo Chicken Dip

I know I havent been keeping up with my blog this month, but I am back! I have been wanting to post up this little recipe forever now! It was given to me by a friend of mine, Rikki. She used to make it all the time for us, and it’s just absolutely delicious!

I large can of chunk chicken ( 2 or small cans)

2 packages of cream cheese

Red Hot Sauce (to taste)

1/3 cup of ranch

1/3 cup of shredded cheddar cheese

Grab a medium size pot and through in your chicken and as much hot sauce as you would like. Let it simmer for a few minutes and add your cream cheese. The stove should be on low so your chicken wont burn. When the cream cheese starts to melt add in your ranch. Once everything is melted add your cheese and mix everything together. You can sprinkle some cheese on top if you’d like. Best to eat the dip warm, otherwise it starts to get hard and you have to reheat it. Hope you enjoy this little recipe as much as we do!

Taco Chicken Rice

So the other day I was thinking of what to make for dinner with all the things that I already had. I came out with this yummy recipie.

2cups of rice

2 large chicken breast

1 can corn(drained)

2 cans of tomato sauce (8oz cans)

1 taco seasoning package

salt and pepper to taste

2tbsp olive oil

First thing you do is cook your rice according to package.  In a frying pan with your olive oil cook the chicken until no longer pink. Pour your taco seasoning and your tomato sauce on to the chicken and let it boil. Once it boils put your corn into the mixture. Let it simmer for 5mins. Mix your cooked rice with your chicken mixture and salt and pepper to taste. Sprinkle with some cheddar cheese if you wish.

Product of the month: NOVEMBER!!!

Exquisite Oil.

by: Matrix BIOLAGE

I chose the “Exquisite Oil” for the month of November because this is the month when your body and hair begins to dry out a little.  Of course it’s due mostly to the colder weather coming along. So this little serum works wonders for your dull and dry hair! It is filled with Moringa, Macadamia, and Argan Oils to give your hair instant sheen, nourishment and control.

This little hair product is also multi-use, meaning there’s more then just one way to use it! I love products like that, feels like you’re getting a little more for your money that way.  One of my favorite ways to use it is right before i blow dry my hair. I put a pea size in my hands and rub it through out the mid-to ends of my hair. You can also put it in right before shampooing or right before conditioning your hair. Another one of my favorites is to use as an overnight treatment. Just coat your dry hair with the serum and put on a shower cap. The next morning just shampoo like you normally would.

This is a new product that Matrix came out with not too long ago. It has been flying off the shelves like crazy! Try it out for yourself!🙂

Happy Halloween Everyone!!!

Well it’s officially Halloween, one of my favorite holidays! I have been busy baking this whole entire month!  Mostly cookies and cupcakes that is.😉

Told ya! ;)

So, along with my baking comes costumes and halloween parties. My boyfriends aunt and uncle invited us to an 80’s Halloween dance last weekend.  And boy did we have a blast! I of course was “Hello Kitty” and my boyfriend was a big yellow banana. I also made CandyCorn Cupcakes that I brought with us. Unfortunatly I didn’t get a good photo of them since a certain someone tipped over my cupcakes in the container. You can find the tutorial here for the cupcakes though. They sure were yummy!

Here are some pics from the event!

My boyfriend and I.

Now here’s a cute couple.😉

I found Waldo!

We found another banna wanna be.

An old friend and I.

Aunt Dawn and uncle Jason. Aren’t they so cute?!

Uncle Jason and I. Toga-Man is right behind us.

There’s the “Little Red Ridding Hood” and “Wolf” in the far right corner…

There are ALOT more photos, but ALOT of them are also kinda inappropriate. So, I think it’s a good idea to leave them out. hehe.😉

Halloween was so much fun this year. But then again everything is when you’re with good friends!🙂

Super Easy Pulled Pork!

This is just a simple recipie for an amazing pulled pork dish! While it does take about 6 to 7 hours to cook, it only requires 3 ingrediants.

All you need is a can of rootbeer, a pound of a pork butt, and your favorite bottle of BBQ sauce.  This does require a slow cooker. Turn your crockpot/slow cooker on low and throw in the pork and rootbeer. Close it and let it cook overnight or for about 6 or 7 hours. Once its done and the meat just easily falls off the bone it should be ready. Drain the left over rootbeer and fat then shred your meat and remove the bone. Pour your favorite BBQ sauce on it and throw it back in for another half hour.

The meat is so tender and juicy it just melts in your mouth! I got this recipie from AllRecipies.

Chicken Noodle Soup

I have been pretty sick for the past couple weeks, and I swear this is the only thing that helps me! This soup is MAGIC! Well, maybe it’s because it is filled with good veggies and lots of vitamins.😉 Either way it’s the most delicious chicken noodle soup ever. The recipie is acctually my own.

Doesn’t it look so yummy?!

Ingrediants you need:

3 cups of egg noodles

3 stalks of celery (chopped)

3 medium carrots (chopped)

1 large onion (copped)

12 cups of chicken broth

1 rottesirie chicken (shredded)

Dill (to taste)

2 tbps lemon juice

Onion Poweder

Garlic Powder

Black Pepper

First thing you do is bring your broth to a boil. Add your celery, carrots and onions and let it boil for about 20mins. When your veggies are nice and tender, add your egg noodles. Let them cook for about 5 mins before adding the chicken and your seasonings. All the seasonings I do by taste, so add as much or as little as you like. Let everything cook until the egg noodles are done. Add your chopped up dill and lemon juice and mix everything together.

Pour yourself a bowl and enjoy!

Not only is it healthy, but its the perfect cure to any cold!
